Here's one of my new fave blogs: Peeta's Raw Design blog. Just look at these gorgeous photos! How could you not fall in love with them!? Photos 2-6, 10-12, 15-17 & 19 are from other people's homes and all the rest from Peeta and her boyfriend's apartment in Helsinki. I especially like that brown trash door and diamond lamp of theirs. How about you guys?

Oh and hey, if anyone has that Poola Kataryna's "Hang With Me" - hanger (girl with the eyeglasses) and wants to sell it to a new loving home it would certainly get one with me!

The Shadowsea

Nyt heittäydytään hetkeksi - tai siis tunneiksi - veden varaan.

Innostuin vesi-aiheisen soittolistan tekemisestä ehkä vähän liikaa, kun haalin kokoon kaikenlaisia biisejä, joiden nimessä mainittiin vesi tavalla tai toisella, ja sellaisia, jotka nimestään huolimatta kertovat vedestä. Päätin lopettaa siinä vaiheessa, kun lukema näytti 222. Lopulta jaoin kappaleet kolmeen erilaiseen soittolistaan ja annoin useiden valua sormien lävitse takaisin veteen. Osat II ja III nousevat vedestä muutaman viikon kuluttua, mutta ensimmäiseksi on luvassa synkempi, suureksi osaksi instrumentaalinen kunnianosoitus vedelle. Vesi on jotain sellaista, mitä kunnioitan, mutta myös pelkään, sillä olen menettänyt kaksi läheistä ihmistä marraskuun kylmälle vedelle.

Here's a playlist inspired by water, a force that evokes both respect and fear. I for one feel both for I've lost two loved ones to the cold waters of November. This playlist is a bit darker and has lots of instrumental ambiance as well. But I came across sooo many songs good songs (222!)  that in the end I divided them into three different playlists and let many songs fall back into the water. So there's still two more water- themed playlists to come in a few weeks.

Waking Light

Eilen aurinko paistoi vielä kuivien teiden pintaan, tänään sen säteet ovat kimmeltäneet valken lumen pinnalla. Kuluva vuosi ei ole vielä edes maaliskuun lopussa, mutta minä olen ollut jo yhteensä neljä viikkoa kipeänä! Universumi hoi, sovitaanko etten loppuvuonna ole enää päivääkään kipeänä?! Hyvä.

Olen piristänyt itseäni kukilla täällä kotona kipeänä maatessani. Keväiset (ei nyt puhuta mistään takatalvesta mitään) aamuauringon säteet ovat piristäneet mieltä myös. Tietenkin ne ja kukat piti ikuistaa myös kuviksi.

Yesterday the rays of the sun were dancing on the dry pavement and today they've been reflecting off of white snow again. On another matter I've been sick for a total of four weeks this year already! Ahoy Universe, let's make a deal that I shan't be sick another day this year ?! I've been lifting up my spirits with fresh flowers and the morning sun in spring time has been a nice thing as well (no talk of this return of winter now).
