The Grand Budapest Hotel

Tuplapostauksia näköjään satelee tänään. Mutta on minulla siihen hyvä syykin, nimittäin Wes Andersonin uusi elokuva The Grand Budapest Hotel, jonka traileri vakuuttaa ainakin minut. Miten tätä jaksaa muka odottaa monen monta kuukautta (ensi-ilta USA:ssa maaliskuussa)!?

It's double posting today it seems. But I've a good reason for it: Wes Anderson's new movie The Grand Budapest Hotel. The trailer looks so so promising but how on earth can one wait months and months until this can be seen (March 2014 in USA) ?!

Yelena Bryksenkova

Törmäsin tovi sitten Yelena Bryksenkovan taiteeseen ja ihastuin heti. Yelena on Venäjällä syntynyt, Ohiossa kasvanut ja nykyään New Englandissa asuva freelance-kuvittaja. I came across the art of Yelena Bryksenkova a while ago and immediately loved it. Yelena is a russian-born, midwest-raised and northeast-based freelance illustrator. Syksyinen soittolistaa lokakuun loppua varten, kun talvi tekee jo tuloaan (niin, soittolistan nimen voi ajatella kaksimerkityksisenä: lehdet tai lähteä). There's three artists (Chelsea Wolfe, Ólafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi) on this playlist that I'm gonna see live very soon, so excited!

Walk

Olen käynyt viime viikolla ja tällä viikolla  useamman kerran pitkällä kävelylenkillä kamera kainalossa ja pari bambia taskussa. Tämä ihana, kirpeä ja värikylläinen syksy ei varmaan enää kestä kovin kauaa, huomiselle on jo luvattu lunta.

These past few days I've been taking long walks outside with a camera in hand and two bambis in my pocket. This amazingly colorful and beautiful autumn won't last long, it's been said that it'll snow tomorrow.

On aika sanoa hyvästit Berliinille hetkeksi, mutta uusi noin viikon kestävä reissu on jo suunnitteilla ensi vuoden maaliskuuksi. Olen reissusta jo aivan innoissani (tämä ei yllätä ketään)! Hei te ihanat siellä ruudun toisella puolella, onko joku teistä käynyt Berliinissä? Vaikka reissulle uhkaa olla suunnitelmia taas jo liiankin kanssa, otan silti mielelläni lisävinkkejä vastaan! Mutta eivät nämä matkakertomukset tähän vielä lopu, sillä matkustinhan elokuussa Berliinistä vielä viikoksi Wieniin.  

It's time to say goodbye to Berlin for now but hello again in March 2014! I'm planning on going there for about week with a friend and her boyfriend. So excited already (this comes as no surprise to anyone)! Hey you lovelies, any of you been to Berlin? Any tips? Of course I've planned lots of things to do on the upcoming trip but I'm happy to hear some tips if you've got them! But there's still no end in sight for these posts about traveling because I did go to Vienna for a week after Berlin, so stay tuned.
