Tietokoneeni koki viikonloppuna äkkikuoleman. Näyttö pysyi mustana, tietokoneesta kuului ensin muutama piippaus ja sitten kirskuvaa kuolonkorinaa. Ei auttanut mikään. Onneksi melkein kaikki tiedostot olivat toisina kappaleina ulkoisella kovalevyllä, joten taivaan tuuliin haihtui vain pari kolme valokuvakansiota. Muutamia julkaistuja kuvia lukuunottamatta kaikki Varsovan reissun kuvat hävisivät, mutta onneksi en ollut poistanut niitä vielä kamerasta! Nämä valokuvat Ewangelicko-Augsburskin hautausmaalta olivat viimeiset, mitä ennen tietokoneen kuolemaa ehdin sieltä saada ulos. Lienevätkö nämä pääkallokuvat olleet jonkinlainen enne..
My computer suddenly died last weekend. The screen stayed black, there were a few beeping sounds and after that a continuous screeching sound. There was nothing to be done. Luckily I had almost all my files on an external hard drive so I lost only a couple photo folders. All the photos from my recent trip to Warsaw were amongst these but thank god I hadn't removed them from my camera! There were some photos from that trip I had already published and these photos from the Evangelical Augsburg Cemetery were the last ones I got out from my now deceased computer. Maybe all these photos of skulls were an omen..
