Kirppareilta on viime aikoina tarttunut mukaan pari kivaa löytöä ja vanhan postimerkkikokoelmani kaivoin esiin kaapin kätköistä, kun viimeksi kävin vanhempien luona. Keräsin pienenä kaiken maailman muiden asioiden ohella postimerkkejä ja jaoin tämän harrastuksen serkkupoikani kanssa. Voi kuinka monet kerrat sitä hyörytettiin postimerkkejä irti kirjeistä ja korteista. Sukulaisten vanhat kortit koluttiin läpi hienojen postimerkkien toivossa ja ulkomaisten kirjekavereiden kirjeet olivat toivottuja niin niiden sisällön kuin kirjeen ulkokuorenkin puolesta. Poimin postimerkkikokoelman uumenista muutaman kauniin postimerkin ja aion laittaa ne kehyksiin. Ylläolevan kuvan kehykset ovat kuitenkin liian pienet, joten täytyy hankkia postimerkkejä varten jostain isommat kehykset.
Recently I've made two nice finds in flea markets and the last time I was at my parents' I dug out my old stamp collection from the cupboard. When I was young I collected stamps and shared this hobby with my cousin. Oh how many times I steamed cards and envelopes to get the stamps off of them. Whenever we visited relatives I rummaged through their cards in the hopes of finding pretty stamps and letters from my foreign pen pals were welcome for their content and exterior. Today I picked a few beautiful stamps from my collection and I'm planning to put them in frames. The frames in the first photo are too small though so I'll have to find bigger ones.
